148 Violet Tabebuia Planted at Pondok Ranggon Cemetery

As many as 148 Violet Tabebuia trees were planted to Pondok Ranggon Cemetery, Cipayung, East Jakarta. The planting has been started gradually since March 2025.

We'll keep plant the area up to 500 trees

East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Dwi Ponangsera said his side targets 500 Tabebuia trees to be planted at the cemetery.

"Now there are 148 violet tabebuia trees have been planted. We'll keep plant the area up to 500 trees," he said, Friday (4/11).

23 Tabebuia Trees Planted in Senen

He hopes the trees will give comfort for pilgrims visiting the cemetery.

"The planting is important to improve the air quality," he added.

Meanwhile, one of local residents, Rosyid (48), appreciated the planting at Pondok Ranggon cemetery.

"This will make pilgrims feel comfortable while visiting the cemetery," he stated.
